Whether you are looking to move up in your own organizations or are seeking a new position, every IT professional needs a good resume that highlights your skills and experience and will help you get in the door for that interview! The August SPIN meeting will include an informative session on some key points for creating a good IT resume. Two speakers will be featured for this presentation a hiring manager from QinetiQ, North America and a technical recruiter from TEKsystems.
Biographies:
Brad Key is Director of Software & Systems at QinetiQ North America, a homeland security and federal Information Technology (IT) company. Brad is a recognized expert in user interface design and has been developing software for over 20 years. His commercial clients include Microsoft Corporation, Intel, UCLA, Public Service Company of NM (PNM), World Bank, and Porsche Cars N.A. The software & systems group is focused on providing custom application development, business solutions development, and enterprise systems consulting for federal clients including the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the national laboratories. Brad is Chairman Emeritus of the New Mexico Information Technology & Software Association (NMITSA) and is a member of the Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) Supplier Community Advisory Council, a group dedicated to supporting economic growth by improving the effectiveness of the link between SNL and the supplier community. Brad earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico.
Tina Aragon is a Professional Recruiter at TEKsystems for the past four years. TEKsystems is a leading Technology Staffing and Services company specializing in Applications, Infrastructure, and Communications technologies with a strong presence in 5 key industries: Financial Services, Healthcare Insurance, IT, Communications, and Government. Prior to working at TEKsystems, her career path was in the Healthcare Industry where she served 5 years in an operations role with a local Hospice and 11 years in a management role with a National Clinical Laboratory. Tina earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
